2026 Senior Competition
The Senior Competition has a hybrid format with the preliminary round taking place online at Gallery of Guitar by way of a livestream event in which the Jury will review pre-recorded performances from competitors.
It is open to Guitarists Aged 18 and older with no age limit.
For the preliminary round competitors are invited to perform a contrasting programme of their own choice with a maximum duration of 12 minutes. Competitors should send an unedited, single camera angle video of their performance via WeTransfer to info@cgretreat.com by April 27th.
The Final takes place in person on Sunday 12th July at 2pm in the Laidlaw Music Centre in St Andrews during the Classical Guitar Retreat.
Finalists will be invited to present a contrasting programme of their own choice with a maximum duration of 25 minutes.
Accommodation will be provided for the finalists on the nights of 11th and 12th of July.
